Challenging ideas for incentive tours in Scotland
Taxi Treasure Hunt
You will have the chance to take part in a taxi style treasure hunt of Edinburgh City Centre, using traditional British style black taxi cabs. The teams will be reaching into their own imagination, thinking on their feet and working towards a common goal. They will drive through Scotland's most exciting city visiting unusual locations and attractions as they endeavour to work out a myriad of clues, visit a range of check points and perform a number of hilarious tasks. Clues and tasks will be different. Information hunt: Teams are given a long list of questions for which they must find the answers by visiting areas of historic or local interest. Photo Hunt: Using a Polaroid camera, teams must take photos of the poses listed. E.g. Team in a Rolls Royce, On a castle, Up a tree etc. Scavenge Hunt: Again from a list, teams must collect as many of the items as possible and return with them. E.g. celebrity signature, Grass from Murrayfield etc.
Traditional Highland Games
Enjoy a morning of highland activities in the arena involving participation or simply watching the demonstrations.
Fun field Caber Tossing. Skill and strength are needed to throw the caber, haggis or shott putt for them to land correctly.
In search of Robin Hood! Using the finest of equipment with tuition on hand, team members attempt to amass the highest possible score
Bag piping. This ancient instrument has been played for years. Now you have the chance to marvel at its unmistakable sound... or do you?
Tug O' War finale. The ultimate test of strength and skill as your selected team work together to overcome the opposition. A great teamwork activity.
After the lunch there will be a transfer to the Glenkinche Whisky Distillery to discover the art of making Scotland's national drink. And of course there will be the opportunity to sample the whisky at the end of a tour.
Wilderness Scotland Outdoor Activities
Mountain Biking in the beautiful Burnhan woods is a flexible activity and adaptable to all ages and abilities therefore enjoyable for all group dynamics.
White water rafting and canoeing on the River Tay, where the more adventurous of the group can really get out and experience all that the Scottish Wilderness has to offer.
Hiking. Accompanied by your very own Mountain Ranger you will take a leisurely hike through the beautiful Perthshire Mountains and fill your lungs with the healthy fresh air. At the end there will be a great picnic.
The Trossachs Programme
You will make your way West to the Trossachs National Park, which is the perfect place to enjoy the magnificent landscapes shaped by nature and the timeless beauty of Elen's Isle. After lunch you will enjoy a really spectacular demonstration of a Working Sheepdog and Duck Herding. See up to eight dogs working as a team manoeuvring sheep and ducks through various obstacles.
Highland Safari
You will head into the hills high above Highland Perthshire and experience the thrill of the off road trailing at heights of 2000 - 3000 feet. The exclusive 4x4 trail passes Mountain Lochans and ancient settlements travelling through forests and moors on private hill roads. You will also enjoy clay target shooting and instruction. In the evening a full Scottish Kilt outfit will be delivered to each room for the men and a tartan sash and Celtic brooch for the ladies. A gala dinner will take place at one of the following venues: Winton House, where you will be welcomed by a Piper in full Scottish dress and escorted into the house for dinner; The Signet Library, which has been described as the prettiest room in Europe; or The Royal Yacht Britannia, which boasts high standards of service and meticulous attention to detail. You are guaranteed to feel like royalty.
Firth of Forth Cruise
You will have the opportunity to take a boat cruise, during which you will see a wide variety of marine wildlife including many seabirds, seals and use your on-board binoculars to get a close-up view.
Golf Master Class
Scotland is the home of golf... You will be entertained by the professional golf pros and taught the skills required in Scotland's most popular sport. This activity is suitable for golfers of all abilities - from beginners to those who are more skilled. The master class will be followed by lunch.
